Centre of Excellence (CoE) – Indigenous Processor Development
Overview
This CoE will train selected students, external participants, and interested faculties with the processors to work on innovative applications. This center will also facilitate guest lectures, FDP / workshops, Value Added Courses, and research publications with industry-academia collaboration. Participants will also get opportunities to work on RTL description and FPGA implementation for proposed architectures from HDL implementation. These events will be focused on enhancing the skills and learnings of participants to solve the challenges with innovative applications.

- Catering research scholars to pursue their research under the facilitation of Indigenous Processor Development.

Events
One Day Hands-on Training Program on Aries Boards-Vega Processor: This hands-on training session was organized under the Centre of Excellence-Indigenous Processor Development for the students from 3rd and 5th semester. The inauguration session starts with welcome addresses from Dr. Gaurav, HOD, Dept. of ECE in the presence of respected PVC, faculty members and participants. He discussed the importance of Vega Processor, with its cutting-edge architecture and versatile applications, representing a significant advancement in the field of embedded systems and computing. He expressed his gratitude to our esteemed speakers and trainers for sharing their valuable time After that Dr. Gaurav requested Dr. Sandeep to introduce the Hands-on training in detail
