Fluidyn

Fluidyn is a leading provider of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Multiphysics simulation solutions. It specializes in innovative software and engineering applications for diverse industries, including aerospace, automotive, civil engineering, and environmental sciences. Their specialized tools, including Fluidyn-MP, PANACHE, and VENTIL, enable advanced applications in industrial design, environmental modeling, and HVAC optimization.

With a skilled team of experts, Fluidyn collaborates with global industries and academia to address complex engineering challenges. The workshop is conducted under the banner of the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), the Department of Civil Engineering, and in collaboration with Fluidyn Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, renowned for its expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Multiphysics simulation.

Overview

This workshop focuses on providing hands-on training in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) using Fluidyn software. It bridges the gap between theoretical concepts and their practical applications, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and preparing participants for industry and research-oriented challenges. The program aims to enhance students’ knowledge and skills, equipping them to tackle future sustainability, safety, and advanced design optimization challenges.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Enhance participants' practical understanding of CFD principles and applications.
  2. Train in the use of Fluidyn software for solving complex engineering problems.
  3. Demonstrate interdisciplinary applications across Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, and Chemical Engineering.
  4. Prepare students for R&D roles by equipping them with industry-relevant skills.
  5. Cultivate critical thinking and analytical skills through advanced simulations.

Group 1: Industrial Design Optimization Using Multiphysics Simulation

FLUIDYN SOFTWARE KITS

Software kits will be provided to all registered workshop participants. These kits will include the necessary tools and resources for hands-on experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations. The software kit's validity is 15 days.
