Alliance Alumni Association is proud to welcome their alumni to meet, connect and re-live the splendid moments of togetherness, once again. The convergence of wonderful people such as you with your intellectual minds, varied cultures and a bag of memories is what makes the graduated and graduating batches of ALLIANCE more special and unique in all ways. The Association endeavours to connect through this portal, alumni reunions, alumni chapters and ‘back-to-campus’ initiatives. The Association will also create a platform for the alumni to share their experiences and success stories in different walks of life which could include public services, philanthropy, agriculture, arts, business, education, environment, humanities, social sciences, etc.

ELIGIBILITY OF NOMINEES

Nominees must have graduated from Alliance University as on 31st March 2017. EXCEPTION - ONLY for the category Outstanding Professional Achievement
Nominees must be from a program of minimum 90 days duration.
Period of the entry is between year of Graduation to March 31, 2023.
Self-nominations are allowed for individual award entries. i.e. name of the uploader can be the same as the nominee.
ENTRY SUBMISSION RULES
If the same entry is submitted under different categories with little or no variation, only the first entry submitted will be automatically considered.
Course detail and Year of Graduation are mandatory field. Please ensure it is correct eg. MBA 2001

NAVIGATING THROUGH NOMINATION PLATFORM

SUBMITTING AN ENTRY:
Fill up the form that appears. Please stick to the word restriction –you will get a warning in red if your entry exceeds the word limit. Any words beyond the word limit will be automatically cut out by the system.

Award headline – 10 words; Main body of the entry – 150 words ; Impact of the achievement – 50 words

In the entry, focus on the relevance to the value that the person is being nominated for. The 150-word main body of the entry carries 70% weightage during review by the panel and must talk of the HOW – the behaviors demonstrated by the person. Must explain how the person/team has exemplified the value.

You can upload documents, pictures or a video, up to 20 MB. These are optional supporting, as the written entry carries all the weight.

BEFORE LOGGING OUT

You can save your entry as a draft and submit it later. You can even make changes after submission before the deadline. Ensure you submit your entry & don’t leave it in draft mode.

You will be able to view only the entries submitted by you

Event 1: Elevate and Express | Time: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

The event is a start-up pitch competition where entrepreneurs - both existing students from the university as well the alumni will have the opportunity to showcase their innovative ideas and business models to a panel of judges and potential investors.

Each participant will have a limited time to present their pitch, highlighting their unique value proposition, market potential, and growth strategy. The event aims to provide a platform for start-ups to gain exposure, receive feedback and potentially secure funding for their ideas.

Event 2: Annual General Meeting | Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Every society registered under this Act shall hold every year a general meeting called the annual general meeting at which the report of the management of the society for the previous year together with an audited copy of the balance sheet, income and expenditure account and the auditor’s report shall be submitted for approval. The activities done by the society is also discussed during this meeting.

As AI continues to evolve and become more advanced, it is expected to have a profound impact on the workforce. Alliance Alumni Global Award for Social Justice and Community Impact

This award recognizes alumni who have made a difference in the social sector through their ideas and work. They could be working with any Non-profit organization, NGO, charitable entity, corporate social responsibility areas in the private/public sector or have their own socio-commercial enterprise. They could be in active politics, hold a position of responsibility or a political influencer. The main criterion of nomination being that their efforts should have a direct or indirect notable social outcome. This will cover the areas of Community, Service, philanthropy, and social justice. Also Alumni who are in Judiciary, state legal service, law enforcement or from civil services.

Dedication: The nominee should demonstrate a strong commitment to social justice and community service and have a track record of working tirelessly towards these goals.
Empathy: The nominee should show empathy towards those in need and be motivated by a genuine desire to serve and help others.
