Prof. Nayana Tara Acharya, has majored in English from Mysore University and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and a degree in Law.

Having made a beginning (in the year 1996) as a lecturer in English, Prof. Acharya moved on to be the Head of the Department in some of the organizations she served. Besides academics, Prof. Acharya's stint as a Centre Manager has given her an experience in administration. Prof. Acharya has also actively participated in several international seminars.

 

Her research areas of interest are human psychology, management and creative writing.
